This is the rebuild of the front suspension from a 1968 Maserati Ghibli. It is in un touched condition and will be thoroughly shot blasted and re painted in satin black with parts re plated and chemical blacked where necessary. The calipers are missing their mounting bolts and Maserati used M11 x 1 bolts so these have been specially made even though the callipers are Girling and the suspension uprights are Alford and Adler. Maserati used metric bolts where they could with extra fine threads making them impossible to find. Borrani three eared spinners will be fitted once the wire wheels have been rebuilt by Borrani in Italy. Front hubs are in perfect condition which is good news as they are unavailable to buy. New rear hubs were made for the rear axle, please read about it here.
